 which houses a wonderful history of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle.

This car is one of only TWO known Formcars with this number scheme.. meaning 65-188 instead of 365-188 on its ID plate. According to the Museum, this car is one of 12 that were imported into Germany from the first 'Formcar Factory' in Florida at the very beginnings of the marque. It would be assumed that 65-185 was also imported in that group.
